Rinse and drain quinoa in a mesh strainer.
Transfer to a pot and add water and salt.
Bring to a boil.
Lower heat, cover and simmer until all the liquid is absorbed, about 15-20 minutes.
Remove from heat and let sit, covered, for 5 more minutes.
Fluff with a fork. When quinoa has cooled, gently fold in the remaining ingredients.
Adjust seasonings to taste and serve.
